Physical Properties:
It is white fine powder that has 858 degree Celcius of melting point and 1505 degree Celcius of boiling point. It is easily soluble in water, soluble in hydrofluoric acid, liquid ammonia, slightly soluble in alcohol and acetone. Its aqueous solution is alkalic, erodent to glass and porcelain.
